Hello my beautiful watchers! It's me Flyingfetlocks! I'm not surprised if you've forgotten that name, it's been long enough.
I've abandoned this account and its horses and it has been weighing me down since. I've needed to come back here and I've decided today's the day. I never stopped drawing, or more so sketching, but lately I have been attempting lengthy sketches, bothering to reference, re-sketch, refine and colour. It has reminded me how much I love drawing horses and how much I need to come back!
I've realised now that though I might have been busy, I can still squeeze DA back into my life again, I doubt I will be on every night but
*Frantically presses panic button*
So every morning I move Phoenix to a larger paddock for her to graze in with plenty more trees as well and I move her back at night
Tonight as normal I go to move her back (No riding because I'm buried in homework)
Then as I put on her halter I spot a nasty gash on her shoulder, it's dry and will heal quickly so I don't take much notice of it. Then when we reach her night paddock I see another and similar gash on the front on her hind leg and get a bit more panicky, and as I let her go (deciding I'll check them out once I've given her the grains she eats each night) I see a dark line at the back of her fore leg.

Just learnt today Black Friday is the beginning of shopping for Christmas or something after Thanks giving...as an Australian I have never heard that term before, in fact I was seriously confused at first when there was a lot of journals saying things along the lines of 'Going black Friday shopping'.
I mean, here in Australia when you hear black in front of a day of the week it's referring to a catastrophic fire that decimated hundred of houses, burnt down forests and killed people...I mean I was getting pretty worried for a second there!
Oh and apologies for inactivity...I actually have a ton of drawings to post...I just haven't...

I am so happy you bought her! i look forward to seeing photos of her.
I want to buy marley .... and i can for $500 but i cant cause i dont have a job :/ so i am going to talk to my friend's mum about doing out a proper lease thing (and possibly buy at end)
I dont know if i told you but my dog had to be put down 4 weeks or so ago :/ so ive been really upset. Sorta not drawing and so on :/ but. i was scrolling facebook a few days ago when a bull arab x wolfhound popped up- 3 year old, female, give away. i showed nan and she wants her ... so it looks like we are getting a dog sooner then we thought ... not replacing arya ... but we are saving a dogs life (if she didnt find a home she was going to the pound)
You are really good at getting injured XD i fell off a few weeks back... we were jumping and lou jumped really badly, my position went whack and i fell forward, hit his legs and landed on my butt. Oh my poor legs that hit his! the bruise was so bad! got straight back on tho.
Marley is being a complete bitch. Sorta gaining weight but still got ribs showing badly. We are trying everything! hopeing that next time i go up (hopefully this weekend) i will see a massive improvement. But for now riding her may is the most painful thing. Bucking, bolting, acting like a bitch and not moving. too forward ARG, list is endless!
