So every morning I move Phoenix to a larger paddock for her to graze in with plenty more trees as well and I move her back at night
Tonight as normal I go to move her back (No riding because I'm buried in homework)

Then as I put on her halter I spot a nasty gash on her shoulder, it's dry and will heal quickly so I don't take much notice of it. Then when we reach her night paddock I see another and similar gash on the front on her hind leg and get a bit more panicky, and as I let her go (deciding I'll check them out once I've given her the grains she eats each night) I see a dark line at the back of her fore leg.

Far more suspicious now, I retrieve her grain and pinch some spray on animal antiseptic from the house and tell my nanny about the cuts, she insists she come with me to have a look. When I put on her halter again, with the help of a few carrots I see she's cut open all the back of her fore leg, luckily it hasn't torn the muscle but it's still deep and seems uncomfortable. The back of her hind legs are shredded too

After feeding her my nanny and I decide to scout out the paddock around the fence line. We get to one place and wonder why there's so many holes that a sheep could get through (I mean the sheep would be gone if this had happened a while ago) The we keep walking and find the whole fence is gone. Phoenix had gotten her legs entangled in the old fence (that my papa refuses to mend for the last 26 years) and has ripped 30m worth from the fence posts and carried it 60m away. That would have bloody killed especially when all that corner is deep grass where the fence would have been hooked!

So yeah, frantically pressing the panic button and praying not too much damage has been done to her legs...guess I'll find out tomorrow

Sincerely
